STRUCTURAL FABRICATION

Plate Processing

Our advanced plate processing capabilities employ state-of-the-art plasma and oxy-fuel cutting systems, ensuring precision and efficiency in fabricating complex geometries. Integrated high-speed carbide drills further enable us to punch slots or drill holes with exceptional accuracy, meeting stringent engineering tolerances.
For simpler geometries, we utilize 10’ wide high-capacity shears for clean cuts, followed by precision bending using press brakes. This process is ideal for fabricating components such as concrete pour stops, embeds, and other detailed bent plate elements, ensuring consistent quality and performance in every application.

Beams, Columns, Channel, Tubing, and Pipe Fabrication

Our state-of-the-art fabrication facilities feature multiple beamlines equipped with high- precision saws, drills, copers, cambering machines, and other essential material handling equipment, enabling the efficient processing of beams, columns, channels, tubing, and pipes. To optimize fabrication space and enhance safety, these advanced machines are strategically placed outside of the main production shops, ensuring smooth workflow and a safer working environment.

Assembly & Fabrication

This process involves marking each part with precise dimensions, part identifiers, and the required weld symbols to ensure seamless and accurate final fabrication.

Heavy Fabrication

Welding

All of our welders are AWS-certified, and every weld is meticulously inspected, documented, and approved by an AWS-certified welding inspector, ensuring compliance with the highest quality and safety standards.

Coatings

Our coatings department holds an AISC certification for Sophisticated Paint Endorsement, supported by an experienced coatings inspector to ensure compliance with industry standards.
In our heated coating facilities, we have the capability to apply a wide range of coatings, from standard shop paint to advanced zinc-based multi-coat systems. The fabricated steel is thoroughly cleaned using shot blasting to remove mill scale and rust, ensuring optimal adhesion and long-lasting protection for all projects.

Quality Control

Every fabricated steel component undergoes a comprehensive final inspection by one of our AWS-certified welding inspectors. This evaluation covers weld integrity, material flaws, dimensional accuracy, and other critical attributes, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.
All welds are subject to 100% visual inspection, with advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, including Ultrasonic Inspection (UT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), applied as specified by project requirements or relevant building codes. Our ultrasonic inspection capabilities include both Conventional UT and Phased Array UT, offering superior resolution and accuracy for detecting subsurface anomalies. In addition to final acceptance, our Quality Control department actively oversees the entire fabrication process, ensuring strict adherence to all relevant industry codes, project-specific procedures, and internal quality protocols. This comprehensive approach guarantees the structural integrity and performance of every component throughout its lifecycle.

Receiving

Upon delivery of materials from our trusted vendors to one of our fabrication facilities, a standardized inspection procedure is implemented to verify that the materials meet the strict tolerances outlined in the ASTM-A6 Standards manual.
Each plant’s inventory is meticulously managed through our ERP system, a specialized database designed specifically for the steel fabrication industry, ensuring real-time tracking and precise management of material stock, traceability, and efficient workflow across all operations.

Shipping

Finished materials are securely loaded onto trucks using forklifts and cranes, ensuring safe transport to the job site.
To improve the accuracy of shipping documentation, our team scans barcodes on each fabricated component, generating a bill of lading for every shipment. This system enhances tracking precision and minimizes errors.
